These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the QonsultFirm website, including its articles, resources, contact features and consultation scheduling tools. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
About QonsultFirm
QonsultFirm provides accounting, controller and fractional CFO support for medical groups. The website explains QonsultFirm's services and allows prospective clients to request or schedule a consultation.
Website information is general
Website content is provided for general educational and informational purposes. It is not accounting, tax, legal, investment, medical or other professional advice for your specific circumstances. Illustrations, dashboards, financial figures and examples are samples only. They are not client results, forecasts, guarantees or benchmarks.
Do not act or refrain from acting solely because of website content. Decisions should be based on your circumstances and, where appropriate, advice from qualified professionals who understand them.
No client relationship through website use
Using the website, sending an email, calling QonsultFirm or scheduling a consultation does not create an accountant-client, advisory, fiduciary or other professional relationship. A professional relationship begins only after QonsultFirm and the client sign an applicable engagement agreement. That agreement controls the scope, responsibilities, fees and other terms of the engagement.
Consultation scheduling
QonsultFirm currently offers a complimentary 30-minute consultation through Microsoft Bookings and Microsoft Teams. Available times may change. A booking is confirmed only when the scheduling system issues a confirmation.
You may use the links in your confirmation message to reschedule or cancel. QonsultFirm may reschedule or cancel a consultation when necessary and will use the contact information submitted with the booking to provide notice. A consultation is an initial discussion and does not guarantee that QonsultFirm will accept an engagement.
Microsoft's services support the scheduling and meeting process and are governed by Microsoft's applicable terms and privacy practices. QonsultFirm's handling of information submitted through the website or scheduling process is described in the QonsultFirm Privacy Policy.
Do not submit sensitive information
Do not submit patient information, protected health information, Social Security numbers, account credentials, full financial-account numbers, tax identification numbers or other confidential or sensitive records through public website forms, booking questions or ordinary email. Initial consultation requests should contain only the information reasonably necessary to discuss the type of support requested.
If QonsultFirm accepts an engagement, appropriate methods for exchanging records and any applicable privacy or security responsibilities will be established separately.
Permitted use
You may use the website for lawful, personal or internal business purposes related to learning about QonsultFirm or its services. You may not:
- interfere with the website or attempt to bypass its security;
- introduce malicious code or use automated activity that unreasonably burdens the website;
- impersonate another person or provide false information;
- use the website to violate law or another person's rights;

Intellectual property
The website design, QonsultFirm name and branding, original text, graphics and other content are owned by QonsultFirm or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Limited quotations and links may be used as allowed by law, provided they are accurate and do not imply endorsement.
Third-party services and links
The website may link to or use services operated by third parties, including Webflow, Microsoft Bookings and Microsoft Teams. QonsultFirm does not control third-party services and is not responsible for their availability, security, content or practices. Access to a third-party service may be governed by that provider's own terms and privacy notices.
No warranties
To the extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided as available without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. QonsultFirm does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or suitable for a particular purpose, or that website content will always be complete or current.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, QonsultFirm will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, profits or business opportunity, arising from or related to website use or inability to use the website. QonsultFirm's total liability for a claim arising solely from use of the public website will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, specifically to access the website during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Privacy
The QonsultFirm Privacy Policy explains the website's information practices. It is incorporated into these Terms of Use by reference.
Changes to the website or these terms
QonsultFirm may change the website or these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted with a revised effective date. Changes apply prospectively from the stated effective date. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating to these terms or the public website may be brought in a court with jurisdiction under applicable law. This section does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer law.
Severability
If a provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect, and the affected provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law.
